READY TO BECOME A PARTNER?

1.Create an Account: Visit the IRS website and create an account if you don’t already have one. You can do this through the IRS’s PTIN system.
2. Start the Application: Once logged in, start the PTIN application process. You’ll need to provide personal information such as your name, social security number (or individual taxpayer identification number), date of birth, mailing address, and other contact information.
3.Answer Questions: You’ll be asked a series of questions regarding your tax filing status, any past felony convictions, and your previous year’s tax return information. Answer these accurately.
4. Renewal or New Application: If you are renewing your PTIN, provide information about your prior year’s tax return preparation. If it’s a new application, you won’t have prior year data to provide.
5. Payment: There is a fee to obtain or renew a PTIN. The fee amount can vary, so check the IRS website for the current fee structure. Payment can usually be made online during the application
(PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR 2025 PTIN UNTIL THE IRS UPDATES THEIR WEBSITE FOR NEW SEASON IF YOU APPLY TO EARLY YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT A NEW APPLICATION FOR A UPDATED PTIN)
